Our first official club meeting in 2016 was a big success! It was good to see quite a few people at the meeting, and a lot of interaction and learning occurring. There were at least 30 people in attendance, and the club raised $246 in revenue, $40 of which came from the 50/50 Raffle, where 100% of the proceeds will go toward the Club Championship payouts! We plan on having 50/50 Raffles on a regular basis. Thank you John Squillace!
In addition to the presentation given by Tim Demmon, Mark Westcott talked shortly about success in winter fishing on the local Columbia River, and there were several free giveaways. About five people were given a few bags of Mr. Demmon’s plastics, Victoria McConnell won the Mystery Tackle Box, and Lloyd Ingram won the 50/50 Raffle!
There was food, magazines, baits, interaction, and good company….The only downside was there were a lot of us who wanted to stay later and chat, and Ranch and Home closed down!
Good times! Here is to 2016 for the Columbia Basin Bass Club!
